Facebook Page Size Reduces to 520px Late July 2010
It’s been the talk of many Facebook page designers for nearly a year – the big change from 760px to a new 520px width.
Late last year and early 2010 saw designers scramble to “fix” their designs to be ready for the change as rumours moved from early 2010 to March….the most recent is that the change will take place late July 2010.
Massive corporations have all be redesigned to fit the new 520px spec and facebook say they will give page administrators 2 weeks notice.
If Facebook do give us the 2 week window then we should be very close to the official announcement. So play safe; keep all your Facebook page designs to a width of 520px or be ready to modify them quickly when the new specifications come into effect!
