Facebook Image Resizing Problems Should Be Solved Shortly…

It seems today developers and pagemasters are having a bit of a Facebook nightmare as custom static fbml tabs look ugly as images are squashed, stretched and resized allover the place! Is this to do with the new 520px tab size? Is the facebook proxy resizing and caching short term? It seems the general consensus on the Facebook Developers forum is that it is….and will sort itself out within the next 24hours. Lets hope so!

Official : Facebook Page Tabs Reduce Size To 520px : 23rd August

After driving many of us crazy, Facebook have finally announced the official date that they will be reducing the size of Facebook page tabs from 760px to 520px. “Boxes” will also be discontinued.
